Fence and gate fixed 10/30/25

 Bearden UMC Community Garden - Fence and gate fixed 10/30/25. Our garden no longer has a spooky fence opening. This morning, Tim's Fencing fixed the fence and installed two 7 foot gates that can open for big truck deliveries.  Our fences no longer is dangerous looking. I like how great it looks for our Care-nival on Sunday.  The great workers from Tim's Fencing did a lovely job fixing, painting, and installing the new gates.  I love the two 7-foot gates that we can open for trucks delivering compost, manure, and wood chips.  We cut open our garden fence to allow trucks and equipment into the garden to remove the magic mulch (cut up tires) and drop off manure, chips, and compost. The above picture of what the fence looked like before today.   Before we started our converstion to a community garden, the above picture shows the playground prior to our cutting open the fence.
